SCHEDULE

Friday night we kick off our PBC weekend with a welcome reception from 5-7pm. Join us to chat and enjoy a light snack.

Saturday we have a full day planned with presentations from our esteemed group of speakers:  Dr. Julian Hercun, Dr. Gideon Hirschfield, Dr. Hin Hin Ko, Dr. Andy Mason, Dr. Marlyn Mayo, Dr. Aldo Montano-Loza, Dr. Mark Swain, Dr. Puneeta Tandon, Dr. JP Wallach. Our sessions will end at 4:00pm.

Saturday night you will have 2 hours to rest up before our evening gala begins at 6:00pm. Dress business casual (be comfortable!)

Sunday enjoy a leisurely breakfast and participate in the final sessions. The conference will wrap up by noon.

2025 PBC Conference Travel Scholarships

Application Rules

To be considered for a travel scholarship, applicants must apply online at time of registration.

Application deadline is March 31, 2025

A total of 50 travel scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first served, basis. Each application received by the Canadian PBC Society will be date and time stamped to determine who receives the travel scholarship. Travel scholarship applications must be received by March 31, 2025. All decisions are made by the Canadian PBC Society and are final.

Amount of travel scholarships will be $450 per recipient OR $150 per recipient coming from the Greater Toronto Area.

Applicants who are awarded travel scholarships must pay their conference fee to the Canadian PBC Society on or before March 31, 2025. No exceptions. If recipient does not pay his or her conference fee by March 31, 2025, the award will be voided, and the travel scholarship will be awarded to the next applicant on the waiting list.

Travel scholarships are non-transferable. If applicant is selected for a travel scholarship but cancels his or her attendance to the conference for any reason, the next application in line based on the time/date stamp will be awarded the scholarship.

Travel scholarships can only be awarded and used by PBC patients. No family or friends will be awarded a travel scholarship.

Travel scholarships are awarded to assist patients in attending the 2025 PBC Conference and may be used for travel expenses for the patient only. No receipts are necessary and money can be applied to any costs incurred by the patient.

Travel scholarships will be distributed at the end of conference and recipients must attend the conference to obtain the travel scholarship.
